The artists are people who love it to use Inkscape, Gimp, Blender or  something similar.
Most of it are not proffessional but with a lot of enthusiasm and a good feeling for there tools.

(1024 x 768px or higher). Please give me an information about the licence and your website / blog / portfolio. It would be great to see an little howto, your ideas why you create this picture
or what tool you use. Submit your works to my e_mail account.

Will code:free publish text based articles?
Yes, if you have an interesting article about using free software or anything about art.
I hope that issue 3 should contain cool interviews with some artists.

Why is the mag free but not the pictures ?
The reason is, that the pictures have different licences. In the next  issue every site will give you all informations about that. So dont be angry about it .
Next, you can find the download links to the free artworks here.

Can i download the free artworks her?
Yes, next you can find an Download-center her for the free stuff.

Do someone sell the mag or the artworks?
No, the the mag is not an commercial projekt. If you want to use one or more pictures for commercial you have to ask the artist for permission (read the artists page).
Thank you for your understanding.

I like the idea of this magazine but i`m not an artist. How can i support the Initative?
You can write interesting articles, write tutorials, adding a fan button to your site, or something like that. Also you can donate a little bit money if you want. That helps, cause now the hosting is an very lowbudget solution.

This projekt is just in the beginning, so tell me how  code:free can be better.
