Code:Free will show the world what people can do with free software.
So you can see only pure skills of the artists.
This is an private initiative from Chrisdesign, doing this in the free time.

Who are the artists ?
The artists are people who love it to use Inkscape, Gimp, Blender or  something similar.
Most of it  are not professional but with a lot of enthusiasm and a good feeling for there tools.

Can i send my work?
Sure, we need you to fill the next issues!  Every picture will be welcome !
You can send your original files or an simple bitmap with good screen resolution
(1024 x 768px or higher).
Please give me an information about the license and your website / blog / portfolio.
It would be great to see an little how to, your ideas why you create this picture
or what tool you use. Submit your works to my e_mail account.


Will code:free publish text based articles?
Yes, if you have an interesting article about using free software or anything about art.


Why is the mag free but not the pictures ?
The reason is, that the pictures have different licenses. In the next  issue every site will give you all informations about that. So don't be angry about it .

Can i download the free artworks her?
Yes, next you can find an Download-center her for the free stuff.

Do someone sell the mag or the artworks?
No, the the mag is not an commercial project. If you want to use one or more pictures for commercial you have to ask the artist for permission. Thank you for your understanding.

I like the idea of this magazine but i`m not an artist. How can i support the Initiative?
You can write interesting articles, adding a fan button to your site, or something like that, or collaborate as Talent Scout ! Find cool Artist in the Web.
Also you can donate a little bit money if you want. That helps, cause now the hosting is an very low budget solution, so the Mag is at the Time available
